What is the IBM Global University Program? 

The IBM Global University Programs offered to BUILD-IT university students includes two parts. Firstly, students start education with e-learning courses, hands-on labs, and obtain digital certification upon completion. In the second part, students will have 1-2 guest lectures with IBM technical subject matter experts who will share about topics in their expertise relevant to the pre-requisite e-learning courses. 

Do students have to pay for the program? 

The program is offered at NO cost. Students do NOT need to pay for the program. 

What courses does the program offer? 

• Cloud Computing 
• Data Science 
• Artificial Intelligence (AI) 
• Cyber Security 

Why do students participate in the program? 

• To obtain general knowledge about Cloud Computing, Data Science, AI, and Cyber Security and how these technologies can be applied to the business context 
• To understand the “mechanics” of Cyber Security which is a critical cornerstone of all technology 
• To get IBM digital certificates upon course completion 
• To be encouraged to further their technology learning

• April 1:                        Program Information session 
• April 4 – April 29:        Registration and learning with self-pace e-learning modules 
• May 2 – May 13:         Guest Lectures
